Printed Urban Furniture Charette
Co-Design Research
Project Description
Working with a team of designers, we utilized co-design research methods to create a research plan and fully execute it over the course of two months. Our research was focused on understanding the experience of how authority figures determine how to be addressed and how that relationship affects both professors and students perception of academic authority. We used surveys, participant homework, and conducted a generative design session to study this relationship. From our findings, our proposed design solution was to use text predictions to suggest an educators preferred form of address when drafting an email.
